Macro breweries produce and sell so many more beers than micro breweries but, at most stores that sell beer, micro beers average about 40% of the beers on the shelves. While domestic beers have more ability to control the beer market and are more well known, micro brews are favored by taste by consumers, the micro breweries put more care into making the beer, and almost every brewery makes a variety of styles of beer. A major disadvantage of being a micro brewery is that the domestic beers have a much better ability to control the beer market.The justice department has alleged that Anheuser-Busch Cos. here has caused distributors to drop smaller brands and micro brews in favor of its product. Since microbreweries cant afford to advertise on TV a lot, they try and catch a beer consumers eye with a catchy name, or a nice looking logo on their bottles or boxes. Commercials for macro brew usually just consist of a few shots of their product around a bunch of people dancing. Most of the commercials also consist of women wearing skimpy outfits to catch the eye of the male viewers watching there commercial.The few micro beer commercials I have seen always advertised the quality of their ingredients and what types of beer the produce. One of my favorite Micro brew commercials is a Guinness stout commercial. All they show on the commercial is some one pouring the beer, then the beer settling into the glass. No gimmicks or trick advertisement, they just show the quality of their beer. What is a micro brew? Well a m icro brew is a beer that is produced in small quantities compared to the macro brews. She adds that the lax attitude of the American government towards recruiting Islamist sympathizers in the workforces has resulted in several attacks from within organizations. For example, a U.S. Army Major Nidal Malik Hasan gunned down forty-five people including 12 soldiers, and an airport shuttle bus driver plotted a subway slaughter. Home-grown terrorists born and raised in the United States have posed a great threat in the recent past and will continue to be an ominous, concealed danger in the future. They cannot be identified because they appear American in every way, have clean records, American passports, â€Å"and mass murd er in their hearts† (Herridge, 2012). The Pew Research Center Report, (PRC, 2011), forecasts that America’s Muslim population will triple in number, from 2.6 million to 6.2 million in 2030. For ensuring the spread of Islam, American Muslims are engaged in a campaign of mosque-building across the country, â€Å"including in the very heart of the Bible belt† (Stakelbeck 6). Today there are over 2000 mosques and innumerable Islamic schools, where the teaching of extremist Islamic ideologies are carried out.

Tet Holiday Essay According to our traditional custom, the Tet holiday is the Lunar New Year Holiday – the most important holiday in Vietnam. It is around late January or early February, depends on each year. We celebrate three days beginning of the new year, the first day of new year marks the beginning of Tet . This year, the New Year Day is in January 26th. People will have about two weeks off. Although there are three days which are the main days of Tet but we usually start to prepare much time before. There are many things to do such as clean and redecorate our houses, try to pay all our debts or everything we borrowed before the Tet, buy new clothes and presents for our relatives On this special occasion, everybody wants to return to their families, to where they grew up. The people, who are married, manage to take their families to visit or stay with their parents. Tet is the occasion to everybody gathers in warm atmosphere. We prepare for get-together meals, talk about the good things. People try to avoid arguments, or saying any bad things. There is a funny thing that people try not to sweep their house during Tet, because they believe that sweeping means put the good luck away. We forget all the troubles in past year and hope for a better new year. The first person comes to our houses on the New Year Day, who is called the first-foot is very important. People believe that they will bring our good luck or bad luck for the new year, so people usually choose who will be their first-foot. We spend time on visiting our relatives, friends, colleagues and go to pagodas or temples to pray health, happiness ans success for our families. When coming others’ houses or meeting anybody at Tet, we usually wish each other health, happiness, success and many good things. Children are the happiest at Tet. They are usually received presents, especially little red envelopes with money in as New Year’s Wishes, which people believe that will bring good things to children in the new year. People usually say â€Å"the First Day is Father’s Tet, the Second Day is Mother’s Tet and the Third Day is Teacher’s Tet†. On the First Day morning (New Year Day), after finishing what we have to do in our houses , we go to our parents house to give New Year’s greeting. People who are married manage to visit their parents on the husband’s side on the First Day, and then their parents on the wife’s side on the next day. People usually spend the Third Day to visit their teachers. Tet is time to hold get-together parties.

Many people know about 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations, but other types of nonprofits are not as commonly known. The IRS established several sections of the Internal Revenue Code that nonprofit organizations can qualify under. An organization desiring to apply for nonprofit status, must apply under the section that fits its purpose. Understanding the types of nonprofits available and the qualifications for each helps you choose the correct section to apply under. According the IRS, five basic classifications of nonprofit organizations exist under Section 501(c)(3)of the Internal Revenue Code. Classifications include charitable, religious, educational, scientific and literary. A nonprofit organization may fall under one or more classifications. For example, a Christian charity providing food to homeless citizens could fall under charitable and religious classifications. Nonprofits must apply for federal tax-exemption as a 501(c)(3) by completing Form 1023. 501(c)(3)nonprofits can offer tax-exempt donations to individual contributors. Nonprofit organizations formed to promote social and community welfare can apply for federal tax-exemption under Section 501(c)(4) of the Internal Revenue Code. To qualify, organizations must provide a benefit to the general public. Organizations catering to a private group of people do not meet eligibility requirements. An example of a 501(c)(4) is an organization that provides social resources to retirees. Charitable, educational and recreational organizations that do not qualify for 501(c)(3) status can apply under this section. Unlike 501(c)(3) nonprofits, 501(c)(4) organizations can participate in lobbying activities. Organizations whose primary business with the public reflects that of a for-profit corporation cannot qualify as a 501(c)(4). Nonprofits must apply for this status by completing Form 1024. Social clubs formed for nonprofit exempt purposes can apply for federal tax-exemption under Section 501(c)(7) of the Internal Revenue Code. Form 1024 is used to apply for a 501(c)(7). To qualify under this section, nonprofits cannot discriminate against citizens based on race, color or religion. However, religious 501(c)(7) organizations can limit its membership to those belonging to a particular religion. 501(c)(7) nonprofits must receive support from memberships fees and dues. Example of nonprofits with this status include college fraternities and sororities, country clubs and homeowners associations that meet for the purpose of preserving its recreation areas and facilities.

Catching Fire Suzanne Collins is a mutually celebrated writer of many books, including The Hunger Games trilogy. Catching Fire is just one of these astounding books. Catching Fire, written by Suzanne Collins, belongs in the science fiction genre because of the advancements and invention of different technologies. For example, mockingjays, a common animal in the story, are the product of female mockingbirds and male jabberjays. These jabberjays were genetically engineered by the Capitol, a ruthless gathering of officials that oversee the various districts of Panem, and can eavesdrop on conversions remembering every word that was uttered. Mockingjays on the other hand can only remember short verbalizations, such as a song. Also, during the Hunger Games, the Capitol has the ability to materialize objects directly into the arena in which the tributes fight, for example the â€Å"beasts† that enter the arena in the first book of the trilogy. There have also been many advancements in the field of medicine. Most notably, there is a cream for almost anything, whether it be a third-degree burn or a stab wound. This episode of the best-selling trilogy is written in first-person point of view. We are only allowed to know the thoughts and feelings of the main character, Katniss, causing us to wonder what other characters are thinking and feeling as well. This also causes us to create a deeper connection with Katniss. For instance, in the first book of the trilogy Katniss has a flashback in the arena about the explosion in the mines that killed her father. She relives this memory often and often reminisces of the times before her father died. Overall, the point of view of the story ultimately helps the reader identify with the main character. The point of view in this story causes it to be more relatable. Collins wrote the Hunger Games trilogy in present tense. This causes the reader to take the persona of another character or a diary that Katniss tells everything to. This style seems to be very easy to read, as the plot follows an extremely chronological event base. Contrary to her easy to read style, she uses rather impressive diction. This styles gives her a very competitive edge over other writers of today. This novel is enticing. It leaves no stone unturned. By the end of the novel you know that almost every conflict has been elucidated and resolved. The only conflict that was not resolved is between the Districts and the Capitol.
